Charlie Kendall is a freelance guitarist, producer, songwriter, and teacher living in Brooklyn, New York.
Charlie's sound is not restricted to any one genre. Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Charlie grew up with a deep appreciation for Blues, Gospel, Bluegrass, and other roots music, but soon began branching out into Rock, Jazz, Reggae, and other styles.
Charlie studied guitar performance and songwriting at Berklee College of Music in Boston with guitar luminaries including David Tronzo, Eric Gales, Wayne Krantz, Julien Kasper, Jeff Lockhart, Tomo Fujita, and Woody Mann. He has since shared the stage with artists such as Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, George Porter Jr, Shwayze, Marcy Playground, Malcolm Jamal Warner, and Nth Power.
Charlie has national touring experience, ranging from pop/rock/soul groups in nightclubs to solo jazz gigs at upscale restaurants and weddings and rocking out on reggae festival stages. He has licensed music for Discovery Channel and Bravo, and he also made an appearance in HBO's "The Deuce" with his band Chameleon Culture.
